Shelley Joy, Artist, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Artists, for dedication, achievement and leadership in fine art and theatre.
Recognized for more than 20 years of contributions, Ms. Joy is an accomplished artist who specializes in contemporary art and paintings. Her work is recognized as Neo-Contemporary Abstract Art and is known for her use of texture, drama and mystery. She has exhibited her work in galleries and museums all over the world, including The Museum of Modern Art, Gallerie des Champs Elysees and the Gallerie of Athenee.
Ms. Joy knew at the age of 15 she was destined to become an artist and pursued the career by attending The School of the Museum of Fine Arts at Tufts University, the New England School of Photography, and the Aegina Arts Center. Her first exhibition was at the Museum de San Miguel de Allende in Mexico. In addition to her artwork, she is a performer, musician and poet. She is a SAG-AFTRA member and is involved with the Actors’ Equity Association, the Arts Students League, and Broadcast Music Inc. In addition, she supports Doctors Without Borders, St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, Meals on Wheels, Habitat for Humanity and CARE.
