Vicky Culver, Art Gallery Coordinator, Artist, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Artists for dedication, achievements, and leadership in Graphic Design.

Ms. Culver has held her current position as coordinator of gallery exhibits at the Guild of Creative Art in Shrewsbury, New Jersey, since 2000, and is herself a well-exhibited artist of some renown. She recently took home a 2017 Alice Teldler Award for Innovation at the Eyesights Open Juried Photography Exhibit at the Guild of Creative Art, as well as an honorable mention at the 2017 Edgy Show and a 2017 Second Place in Mixed Media from the Art Society of Monmouth County. Ms. Culver is the recipient of an Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award, and has been featured in Who’s Who in America and Who’s Who of American Women.

Born in Liverpool, in the United Kingdom, Ms. Culver studied graphic design, photography, and communications at Manchester Metropolitan University in England, and worked for five years with Longman Educational Publishers in Harlow, England. She concurrently worked with the Department of Industry, Trade and Commerce in Ottawa, Canada, and in 1981 she joined Bandfield Advertising in Ottawa. For three years, Ms. Culver worked as a freelance graphic designer, going on to volunteer with the Guild of Creative Art from 1987 to 2000, when she was named coordinator of the guild.

Ms. Culver has contributed to numerous artistic publications, and has been included in hundreds of group shows. She was the focus of a one-woman show for PNC Bank in Howell, New Jersey, and went on to exhibit art in libraries, cultural centers, universities, and coffee shops. In 2009, she was shown in the Dolphin Watch Gallery, the Terner House Gallery, and as part of a group showing with the Art Alliance of Monmouth County. She has supported numerous artistic societies, including the Audubon Artists, the Printmaking Council of New Jersey, and the Wainright House Museum.
