Marian Bingham, Artist and Printmaker, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Artists for dedication, achievements, and leadership in fine arts and printmaking.
Over the course of several decades, Ms. Bingham has developed a strong presence in the artistic community. In addition to appearing in numerous solo, group and private collections, she has participated in various exhibitions throughout the United States and the world. Ms. Bingham was most recently recognized as an exhibitor with the Cooley Gallery in Old Lyme, Connecticut; Center for Contemporary Printmaking in Norwalk, Connecticut; and Walter Wickiser Gallery in New York City. Her artwork has also appeared in galleries in the Philippines, France, Romania and South Korea, among other locations.
In recognition of her contributions to the artistic community, Ms. Bingham was selected to receive an Art Department Award from Connecticut College. She has been featured in a wide range of honors publications, including Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who of American Women and Who’s Who in the World. In an effort to stay abreast of recent developments in her areas of focus, Ms. Bingham maintains involvement with the Stamford Art Association, Greenwich Arts Council, Mystic Art Association League and Connecticut Academy of Fine Arts.
Outside of her career as an artist, Ms. Bingham has served as a photographer’s representative, office manager and assistant. From 1988 to 1991, she taught art classes at the Lyman Allyn Art Museum. Ms. Bingham went on to receive a Bachelor of Arts from Connecticut College, magna cum laude, in 1991, and Master of Arts in liberal studies from Wesleyan University in 1995. While completing formal education, she served as a gallery advisor with the Greater Waterbury Arts Council for six years. In the coming years, Ms. Bingham looks forward to her continued involvement with the artistic community.
