Ellen Pavlakos, Sculptor, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Artists for dedication, achievements, and leadership in the field of art.
Possessing unparalleled talent and exceptional artistic ability, Ms. Pavlakos has excelled in the field of art. Growing up in Athens, Greece, she was privy to some of the world’s finest art pieces. This art inspired Ms. Pavlakos on a daily basis, profoundly affecting her worldview and inspiring her awareness of and love for art. In preparation for her successful career, she attended the Arsakeion in Athens, Greece, the Norton School of Art in West Palm Beach, FL, and the National Academy of Design in New York City. Ms. Pavlakos holds membership with numerous organizations, including the National Academic Artists Association, the Medallic Sculpture Association, the International Art Medal Federation, the Chamber of Visual Arts of Greece, the National League of American Pen Women and The Ten Women in Art.
In recognition of her success, Ms. Pavlakos has received grants from the Art in Public Places division of the Brevard Cultural Alliance in 1990 and 1993 and earned the Best of Show Award from the Brevard Art Museum in 1980. She displayed her art in dozens of galleries and shows, both in groups and individually. Ms. Pavlakos has had work on display with at the Gray Robinson Exhibit since 2010 and has had other group exhibits, including the Scaling the Charts show at the Foosaner Art Museum in 2014. Additional group exhibits Ms. Pavlakos has contributed to include, but are certainly not limited to, the Museum of Art in Marietta, GA, in 2012, The Deland Museum of Art in Florida in 2007 and the Bronze Sculpture of Mother Earth in Athens, Greece, in 1990. Her solo shows have taken place at the 5th Ave. Art Gallery of Melbourne, FL, in 2014, the Cultural Center of Athens, Greece, in 1990, the Hess Galleries, in Allentown, PA, in 1983, the Brevard Art Museum in 1981, among others. In addition to creating art, Ms. Pavlakos enjoys gardening and would like to dedicate her time to teaching young artists. A testament to her notoriety, Ms. Pavlakos has been lauded with The Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award and has been featured in multiple editions of Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who in the South and Southwest, Who’s Who in the World and Who’s Who of American Women.
