Diane Monet, Artist, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Artists for dedication, achievements, and leadership in the art industry.
Related to the renowned artist Claude Monet, Ms. Monet commenced her career in executive roles, having received a Bachelor of Science in international marketing, with honors, from New York University. Subsequent to earning her degree, she served as an assistant to the director of new product development with Pepsico, an assistant product manager with Bristol Myers, and a product counselor with Avon. With the encouragement of her late husband, she then shifted her focus toward art on a full-time basis, briefly working as a buyer for Nouveau Artist and a general manager for Promotora Artesanal de Jalisco in Guadalajara, Mexico.
Throughout her career, Ms. Monet has had her artwork exhibited at various both nationally and internationally, including in the Marumo Gallery and Everarts Galleries in Paris, France; Omell Galleries in London, England; and Mitsukoshi Galleries and Seibu Gallery in Fujisawa, Japan. Within the United States, her work has been displayed at Bergdorf Goodman, the Albright-Knox Museum and the Bronxville Public Library in addition to being shown in permanent collections. Furthermore, her art has been featured on greeting cards, posters and silkscreens in New York, Switzerland and Germany.
A member of the Salon des Artistes Independents in Paris, Ms. Monet enjoys traveling, volunteering at her local hospital, performing charity work for her local church and advocating for animal welfare in her spare time. She has been highlighted in the 19th and 25th editions of Who’s Who of American Women.
