Ronald Craig Walker, Artist, and Art Teacher in the San Juan Unified School District, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Artists for dedication, achievements, and leadership in art education.
With more than 30 years of experience as an artist and art educator, Mr. Walker is currently an art instructor with the San Juan Unified School District, a position he has held since 1996. Prior to this, he had taught art classes for Bethel School District in Washington, Tacoma Community College, and Learning Tree University. As an artist himself, Mr. Walker has produced an impressive body of work, and has been featured in over 200 exhibitions, as well as 40 solo shows. He is currently represented by Mahlstedt Gallery.
Mr. Walker began his education in the arts at Ventura College, receiving an AA in Fine Arts in 1979, and he then completed a Bachelor’s degree in Education at Central Missouri State University in 1981. In 1984, he completed a Master of Art in Painting at the University, and then in 1992 he received an MFA from the University of Kansas. Mr. Walker developed a passion for the arts as a young man and hasn’t looked back since.
