An expert in grant writing, copywriting, internet research and gardening, Ms. Glaz has been serving as a copywriter for Betty Glaz Copywriting Services for many years, specializing in B2B marketing of gardening and landscaping supplies. Focusing her attention primarily on items ranging from garden plants and tools to lawnmowers and small tractors, she grew up on a small Midwestern farm as a child, and through her formative years, learned to enjoy cultivating the earth. Having previously been a customer herself of other Master Gardeners, Ms. Glaz has in-depth and sharpened knowledge of all aspects of the marketing process, making her a premier source of expertise in her profession. Having studied under American Writers & Artists, Inc., her approach to her craft is punctuated by decades of training and experience.
Prior to founding her own business, Ms. Glaz dipped her toes in several different industries, having commenced her career as a member of special services for the Society of Automotive Engineers, Inc., an administrative assistant for Mony Financial Services, and a legal secretary for Finkel Law Firm LLC. Thereafter, she served as an executive support specialist for the State Board of Technical Education and public information specialist for the Governor’s Office Commission on Women. Alongside her primary roles, she has been an editor and publisher with Kaleidoscope of Carolina and a freelance writer in Columbia, SC, since 1993. She is the author of myriad poems and essays that transcend into both the fiction and non-fiction realms.
Among the highlights of her career, Ms. Glaz cites graduating from the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Arts in English, magna cum laude, at the age of 49 to be a crowning achievement. Having earned scholarships due to her excellence, she also maintained membership with Phi Beta Kappa. In an effort to remain abreast of developments within her profession, she also remained involved with the American Association of University Women, the Society of Professional Journalists and the South Carolina Writers Workshop.
Married to Thomas Glaz with two children and two grandchildren, Ms. Glaz enjoys reading, writing and gardening in her spare time. Impressively, she has been highlighted in the 20th edition of Who’s Who of American Women in recognition of her achievements in the field.
