Jeane Kathryn McGrail, Artist, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Artists for dedication, achievements, and leadership in digital photography.
A noted pioneer in contemporary digital art, Ms. McGrail is an esteemed photographer whose photographs replicate the natural beauty and serenity of nature, particularly the St. Croix River of Wisconsin, where she grew up as a child. Receiving a Bachelor of Science from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls and a Master of Fine Arts from Cranbrook Academy of Arts, she also completed additional coursework at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago many years later. Exhibiting her artwork across the nation and abroad, Ms. McGrail’s environmental projects reflect one another in their message and values, with such works including the “Convergence Series,” “Reflections Series” and “Artic Vortex Series” as part of “River Project: Origins, Movement, Confluence.” In addition, her work “Oblivious: Sunday Stroll by South Pond” is an eccentric departure from her existing landscapes, the digital enhancement and addition of metaphysical and fantasy elements serving as a metaphor for the global collective dread.
