Holly Bianchi, Writer, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Artists for dedication, achievements, and leadership in writing.
A renowned voice in the writing industry, Ms. Bianchi was a freelance writer for Atlantic Highland Herald Newspaper, as well as a reviewer in the fields of local news and history. In addition to these roles, she was the author of a number of books, including “Poems for the Holidays,” “Collage: A Collection of Poems,” “Images of America: Leonardo” and “Images of America Sea Bright, Earth’s Spirits.” Prior to her passing, Ms. Bianchi received a Certificate of Merit Award from Writer’s Digest in 2000 and a Certificate of Appreciation Award in 2002.
Ms. Bianchi began her career as a student at Corcoran School of Arts, completing coursework in studio drawing from 1975 to 1976. She continued her studies with Marymount University, where she earned an Associate of Applied Sciences in 1978. The contributor of short stories and poems to numerous newspapers and magazines, she was a lyricist for Redrock and Hilltop Records. She has also had her work exhibited with the New Jersey Coast Guard Auxiliary. Ms. Bianchi started writing when she was a teenager; she always liked writing, especially poetry. After her mother passed, she landed a job as a secretary working on Capitol Hill. She worked for the State Department, the Treasury Department and the IRS, all while putting herself through school.
