Cynthia SoRelle Easterling, Architect, Fused Glass Artist at, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in the field of architecture.

Mrs. Easterling became involved in her profession because has always loved to draw and her family members encouraged her interest in the arts. Her grandfather was a contractor and her aunt used to take her on walks to look at buildings, which contributed to Mrs. Easterling focusing her studies on architecture. She earned a BA from Tulane University in 1974, an AAS from Meramec Community College in 1979, and is a registered architect in the state of Missouri.  Adept at glass cutting, Mrs. Easterling has won various awards for her glasswork. Mrs. Easterling has been an architect in a private practice since 1999. Her previous occupations include working as a senior project architect with Christner Partnership from 1984 to 1999, job captain at Henderson-Gantz from 1982 to 1984, and a project architect for Brownstein Associates from 1981 to 1982. She has also been a staff architect for Yarger & Associates and Ralph J. Nagel as well as a draftsman for Kurt Landburg and J. Robert Green & Associates.

Mrs. Easterling has been fortunate enough to give back the people in the community who have been her inspiration. She was especially concerned with helping others following Hurricane Katrina, and has helped facilitate the continuing education program “What We Learned from Hurricane Katrina.” She holds membership with the American Institute of Architects, Association St. Louis Area Archivists, and the St. Louis Genealogical Society, among other organizations. Mrs. Easterling sees herself continuing glass work because she loves it and is not considering retirement at this time and instead plans to continuing working on personal and professional projects.
