Vera Svezia, Concert Pianist, Artist Developer, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Artists for dedication, achievements, and leadership in the field of performance art.
With many wonderful years of experience in the field, Ms. Svezia is active as a classical pianist, a music producer, and an artist developer. She is the creator of Verex Entertainment and has participated in concert performances with leading orchestras, such as the Boston Pops, the Rochester Philharmonic, and the Munich Symphony. Additionally, she is currently involved in a project when she is publishing many quality songs and that requires equally excellent performers and singers. As a young girl, Ms. Svezia attended the Julliard Day School on Saturdays and discovered a talent for performing early on so that by nine years old, she was playing at Carnegie Hall.
Mentored by Bruce Simonds at Yale University, Ms. Svezia would eventually assume a mentor role to many other talented artists such as Grammy Award winning musical director, Paul Bogaev and multi-platinum singer, Vanessa Carlton. Holding a Bachelor of Music from Michigan State University and a Master of Music from the Eastman School of Music, she has developed an innovative musicianship training expertise for all ages and styles, including voice, piano, composition/songwriting, advanced ear training, and performance skills. Ms. Svezia has collaborated with Earl ‘Fatha’ Hines, Cyro Baptista, Paul Bogaev, David Kahne, and Jesse Elder, among many others, and her trained students are awarded substantial university scholarships. As a testament to her great success, she has been awarded a Martha Baird Rockefeller Award, a U.S. Congressional Advisory Board Citation, a McDowell Music Colony Scholarship, and has been featured in the first edition of Who’s Who in Entertainment, as well as multiple editions of Who’s Who in America and Who’s Who of American Women.
