Wilfred George Zinavage, Writer, Security Officer, Founder and President at BRATCON Company, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Artists for dedication, achievements, and leadership in the field of authorship.
Dedicated to helping others and sharing his knowledge, Mr. Zinavage is the proud author of “Deployment” and “The Zinavage Legacy.” The president and founder of BRATCON Company, Mr. Zinavage previously worked as a Foxwoods security officer for the Mashantucket Pequots from 1993 to 2001. During that time, he also served as the vice president of the Norwich Area Veterans Council from 1995 to 1996 and authored the book, “Deployment.” From 1989 to 1981, Mr. Zinavage excelled as an armed nuclear security officer for the United Nuclear Corporation, as part of the company’s special tactical response team. He began his career in 1978 as a CPR and first aid instructor with the American Red Cross, before finding success as a biomedical technician at Backus Hospital. In preparation for his career, Mr. Zinavage graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Eastern Connecticut State University in 1991.
Having earned multiple Good Conduct Medals from the United States Navy, as well as a Naval Achievement Medal, Mr. Zinavage served in the U.S. Navy from 1958 to 1977. Along with a group of 17 others, he was the first P-3C Orion flight technician, and currently remains a member of Vietnam Veterans of America. Mr. Zinavage has always found his calling protecting others from harm. As a child, he saved his grandmother when he was only seven years old, and pulled two people out of a fire in Portland, Maine. As a security officer, he continues to work to protect the safety of others. He loves his position and considers each opportunity to be just as rewarding as the next.
