Jim Frazer, Artist, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Artists for dedication, achievements, and leadership in Photography.
With more than 45 years of professional experience, Mr. Frazer is a celebrated visual artist. His work has been featured in several solo exhibitions at the Heath Gallery, and he has shown at the Savannah College of Art and Design, the Southeastern Center for Contemporary Art, the High Museum of Art, and Virginia Intermont College. He has published “The Southern Ethic” and “The Creative Camera,” and he has contributed articles to numerous professional journals. He holds a Master of Visual Arts from Georgia State University and a Bachelor of Arts from Amherst College.
Mr. Frazer has exhibited in groups shows at the Nexus Contemporary Art Center, the Atlanta Botanical Garden, the Detroit Institute of Arts, and the High Museum of Art. He has also participated in group shows with the Marcuse Pfeifer Gallery, the US Information Gallery, the Nexus Gallery, the Central Washington State Gallery, the Bird-in-Hand Photography Gallery, the Ohio Silver Gallery, and the Chapelle de la Sorbonne. His work has been shown with traveling shows for the El Paso Museum of Art, the Holzman Art Gallery, Towson State University, the Museum of the Rockies, Montana State University, the Nickle Arts Museum, the University of Calgary, and the Midland Center for the Arts. In addition to his primary roles, he has served as an instructor at the Atlanta College of Art, Georgia State University, and the Mercer University of Atlanta.
