With nearly 60 years of professional experience, Mr. Milonas has been a poet and artist with Studio Milonas since 1977, also serving as a textile designer with the firm from 1984 to 1994 and an instructor from 1972 to 1976. In addition to his primary roles, he has had his work featured in one-man shows at the Second Story Gallery, the Henry Art Gallery, the Polly Friedlander Gallery and the Stavrakakis Gallery. He has also shown in the West Broadway Gallery, the Heraklion Art Gallery, the Hellenic Cultural Center and the Cypriot Consulate. Mr. Milonas holds a Master of Fine Arts from the University of Washington.
Mr. Milonas has had his work included in group shows at California State University, Northridge, the Panaca Gallery, the University of Washington Library, the Mercer Island Art Gallery, the Tacoma Art Museum and the Northwest Watercolor Society. He has participated in shows at the Gordon Woodside Gallery, the College of the Siskiyous, the Laguna Florida Art Museum, the Bellevue Art Museum and the Sunne Savage Gallery. Mr. Milonas has also been shown at the Bows Museum, the Shipley Art Gallery, the House of Commons, the Haggen Museum and the University of North Dakota.
