Pat Hanner, Retired Nurse and Artist at the Pat Hanner Art Gallery, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Artists for dedication, achievements, and leadership in the arts.
An independent artist who is as versatile as she is acclaimed, Ms. Hanner began her career at the Lanterman Development Center at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, as the director of psychiatric nursing education from 1964 to 2003. During this time, she flourished as an artist and the owner of the Pat Hanner Art Gallery in Ontario, CA, which she maintained from 1964 to 2011. Additionally, she has contributed to the board of directors for the Here We Grow Child Care Center in Pomona as well as the Pacific Federal Credit Union. Moreover, Ms. Hanner obtained an Associate of Science in nursing from Chaffey College in 1978 and a Bachelor of Arts in public administration from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, in 1982.
Beyond her primary responsibilities in her field, Ms. Hanner has found much success with her volunteer efforts as well, having donated to such organizations as the Faith Community Home Church, the American Cancer Society, the American Red Cross, Feed the Children, Life Outreach International and the Parkinson’s Resource Center in Palm Springs, CA, among others. In addition to her exceptional artwork, she has authored a number of publications, including “Ontario City Sewer System” in 1980, “A Miracle in the Making” in 1993 and “Continuous Quality Improvement: New American Governor” in 2009. Initially drawn toward the world of art after receiving an opportunity from the Walt Disney Company, she attributes her success to her outstanding faith while selflessly giving away any artwork to those who greatly enjoyed her creations. As a result of her incredible professional endeavors, Ms. Hanner has been featured in multiple editions of Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who in Medicine and Healthcare, Who’s Who in the World and Who’s Who of American Women.
