Betsy Borchardt, Artist, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Artists for dedication, achievements, and leadership in visual arts.
With more than 30 years of professional experience, Ms. Borchardt is renowned as an artist and author. She has exhibited in group shows at the Kansas City Civic Center, the Kansas Public Library, the Country Club Plaza, and the Neville Public Museum. She has also been featured in the Neville Public Museum, the Art Barn Gallery, the Wisconsin Center, and Our Savior Lutheran Church. She has participated in Art for All and her art was shown at the Howard Young Medical Center, the Roundtree Gallery, the Bergstrom-Mahler Museum, the WRAP Janesville Art Show, and the Redgranite Labor Day Art Show. She has held one-woman shows at the University of Wisconsin Center and she is the author of “A Personal Struggle” and “The Casting of Crowns.”
A respected voice in her areas of interest, Ms. Borchardt has been affiliated with a number of organizations in her community. She is a member of the Wisconsin Regional Artists Association, the Wilson Center Associates, and the Arbor Day Foundation. A fellow of Wisconsin Poets and the Audubon Society, she has also been active with the Wisconsin Writers’ Association and the Lions. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in sociology from St. Norbert College, she has completed coursework with the University of Tennessee and Lawrence University.
