Lena Pousette, Screenwriter, Producer, and Actor, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Artists for dedication, achievements, and leadership.
Ms. Pousette became involved in her industry at a young age after responding to a casting call that was put out to her classical ballet theater. Though she was only seven years old, once she booked the role, she knew that the film industry was where she belonged. She proceeded to complete coursework at both Gothenburg University and Burgards University. Later, in 2014, she was certified in screenwriting after completing a Master Certificate Program at ScreenwritingU.
Ms. Pousette has been acting, directing, producing, and screenwriting in Los Angeles, California, since 1985. Some of her most notable projects consist of her work on “The Bluejay Gospel,” “CAT DEXX,” and “Last Call at Murray’s.” For her work on “Black King Down,” she received the Best Short Screenplay award from the Manhattan Film Festival in 2018. Furthermore, she has earned seven Interactive Academy Awards, including Best Writing and Best Sports Title. A member of Theatre East and The Magic Castle, she is listed in the 2nd edition of Who’s Who in Entertainment. Most recently, in 2019, she became a recipient of the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award in light of her accomplishments.
