Wendy Jackson, International Award Winning Visual Artist, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Artists for dedication, achievements, and leadership.
Ms. Jackson is renowned for her work in fluid and pallete knife work in abstracts. With fluid work, she enjoys never knowing how your paintings will evolve with each other. One of her favorite aspects of pallete artwork is the surprising way colors vibrate together. She was inspired to pursue art after an art project in the fifth grade. Now amassing nearly two decades of experience and a variety of awards on both national and international stages, she has asserted her passion and value to the mediums. She began creating art under the name WenJ Artists in 2004. In 2019, she received the Best Award for Abstract, from BoldBrush. Furthermore, she is the recipient of the Tea Award from Maple House. Ms. Jackson has also made a name for herself through philanthropic work, which includes being an art donor for Jeffrey Fashion Cares, UNICEF-Africa/United States, Give Me Five: No Kid Go Hungry and Art for Education with the Townley Art Foundation, Inc.
Ms. Jackson has a number of creative works and accomplishments to her name. She was selected by Charleston Style & Design Magazine in 2019 and again in 2020. Her painting “Expression” was selected as the jury’s favorite in 2019 and she has served as an artist at numerous UNICEF events, the South Cobb Arts Alliance, Atlanta Spaces at the Battery, the Mable House Art Center, the Cherokee County Art Center and The Gallery at Powder Spring among many other galleries, art shows and charity events. In 2005, Ms. Jackson published the book “Food for the Soul.” In February 2020, her artwork was showcased at the Parallux Art Fair in London, England. Concerning the feedback on her artwork, Ms. Jackson states, “I like bringing joy to people because life can be very challenging at times. It’s amazing how a blank canvas can be transformed into a creative work that gives life and meaning to our lives.”
