An established author of several years, Mr. Cullen is most renowned for his writings pertaining to business intelligence software and speculative science fiction. With more than 30 years of background experience in software engineering to his credit, he has been an independent author since 2017. Alongside this pursuit, he has also served Software Technology Group as a software engineer since 2010. Certified in Azure fundamentals through Software Technology Group since 2019, he is also notably certified in artificial intelligence development. Likewise, he is an expert in .Net full-stack development. Throughout his professional career, he has earned a laudable reputation of completing projects on-time and under budget.
At the inception of his career, Mr. Cullen initially aspired to pursue psychology. However, while attending the University of Nebraska as an undergraduate student, he decided to pursue technology in light of its novel innovations in the field and opportunity for greater financial and career stability. In 1994, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in information systems management.
Publishing his debut novel in 2020, titled “Unlikely: What If You Could Go Back,” Mr. Cullen maintains membership with the League of Utah Writers. Alongside his primary ventures, he is a certified life coach and cites his mastership of reading body language. He attributes his profound success to his innate ability to analyze his clients’ needs, as well as his determination to recommend alternative solutions to their problems.
Mr. Cullen lives by the motto, “The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes, but having new eyes,” written by Marcel Proust. With a motivation to remain open-minded throughout his personal and professional life, he opines that individuals should not be afraid of failure, but rather be mindful of the lessons failures can teach us. In his spare time, Mr. Cullen is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys skydiving and scuba diving.
