Vivian M. Westerman, President at Vivian Westerman Art, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Artists for dedication, achievements, and leadership.
At the early age of five, Ms. Westerman began drawing. It was then that she discovered not only a talent but what would become a life-long passion for art. When it came time for her to pursue a formal education, she received an Associate of Arts from the University of Arkansas. In New York City, she attended the Art Students League and the National Academy. In the following years, Ms. Westerman began her career. Her first professional role was that of a legal secretary for two presidential campaigns and the Ginsberg and Feldman Law Firm. Currently, she is excelling in her role as the owner and president of Vivian Westerman Art.
The author of “French Quarter Artists,” Ms. Westerman worked as a graphic artist in Jackson Square in the French Quarter of New Orleans for 30 years. She considers this experience to be among the highlights of her career, as she was able to explore her talents every day and keep active in her work. Looking back on her myriad accomplishments, she attributes her success to her passion for art. Because of it, she was always motivated to move forward, despite any potentially discouraging experiences. In her spare time, Ms. Westerman enjoys riding horses and spending time with her sisters.
