Anthony S. Coppolella, Poet, Songwriter, and Author at Hilltop Records, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Artists for dedication, achievements, and leadership in music.
Mr. Coppolella grew up with a passion for sports, but once he began writing music, his life changed in more ways than he would have expected. Beginning his career as a songwriter at Hilltop Records and Rainbow Records in 1994, he has since written more than 30 songs, of which 15 are currently contracted. Outside of his musical endeavors, Mr. Coppolella has found notable success as an author. He is the author of a poetry book and has contributed to several poetry compilations, including “Outstanding Poets of 1994” and “Wind in the Night Sky.” Mr. Coppolella maintains affiliation with the National Writers Association and the National Library of Poetry, as well as the International Society of Poets, for which he is a lifetime member and the current consulting-advisor.
As a testament to his professional success, Mr. Coppolella was awarded Aaronic Priesthood from the Latter Day Saints Church. He had previously earned the Sales Award from the Eastern Express in 1964 and went on to earn an Editor’s Choice Award in 1995. Further, he was recognized for his work in 1994 after sharing a poem with the White House and receiving a thank you letter from former President Bill Clinton. In addition, Mr. Coppolella is featured in multiple editions of Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who in Entertainment and Who’s Who in the World.
In his spare time, Mr. Coppolella enjoys art, writing, sports, dancing and cooking. Moreover, he enjoys spending time with his three children, Marlo, Anthony and Angelica. Looking toward the future, he hopes to write two or three books, as writing is one of his great passions. Mr. Coppolella lives by the motto, “If there is something you want to do, do it. Do not be afraid.”
