Davalene Ruth Hirsch, author of the God Games Trilogy, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Artists for dedication, achievements, and leadership in publishing.
Ms. Hirsch is the author of the God Games Trilogy, a series of three science fiction novels that explore the nature of God, destiny and the afterlife through the lens of an epic story of interplanetary cultural warfare and colonization. She discovered her love of writing as a young child, and her passion for the written word increased as she grew up and was exposed to the works of her heroes, including Dr. George Washington Carver. Spiritually curious, Ms. Hirsch spent more than a decade studying the concepts of heaven and hell through the lens of six different religions before beginning the first book in the trilogy, “The God Games: Legend of Kor,” 2014. The second book, “The God Games: Heaven and Hell,” was released in 2020, and Ms. Hirsch is currently working on the completion of the third.
Before shifting her focus to her writing career, Ms. Hirsch enjoyed 14 years as an engineer and administrator at the Golden Oaks Gold Mine and six years as a telecommunications traffic engineer for STARNET Corporation. At STARNET, she was responsible for designing and maintaining switches and circuitry to ensure consistent call quality and a low percentage of dropped calls. In addition to writing, she enjoys painting in oil and watercolor, is active in her community as a volunteer and speaker at her synagogue, and has been included in the Wall of Tolerance at the Civil Rights Museum in Atlanta. Ms. Hirsch holds an associate’s degree from Coleman College and an additional certificate in computer science.
