Marilee K. Buckley, Reiki Master, Artist, Editor and Writer at The University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Artists for dedication, achievements, and leadership in journalism and healing.

Ms. Buckley has always been interested in pursuing a career as a writer and an editor, as her father worked for an independent printing press in Kansas City during her childhood. She and her family maintained a library at home, and she enjoyed reading whenever she could. She thereafter obtained a Bachelor’s degree in communications studies from the University of Missouri in 1984. While working at the University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine, she is proud to have not only provided all of the writing and processing to the weekly newsletter but also the Medical University Journal, which was published once a year. In addition, she excelled as a reporter and writer for Northeast News, a community newspaper in the state of Missouri.

Currently, Ms. Buckley has established herself as a third-degree attuned master teacher of the Usui systems of Reiki Natural Healing. She is grateful to pass Reiki master attunements onto others while performing distant attunements and advanced healing methods. She is a former member of the International Association of Business Communicators and the 4-H Club. She attributes her successes to the exceptional mentors she worked with in college. Looking toward the future, she aims to publish her poems.
