Evelyn Judy Buehler, writer, and poet has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Artists for dedication, achievements, and leadership in literature.

Ms. Buehler is an award-winning poet, a lifetime member of the International Society of Poets, and an inductee into the International Poetry Hall of Fame. Inspired by her mother, who instilled in her a passion for literature and a respect for the unexpected beauty of nature, Ms. Buehler began writing as a teen. She constantly sought out more poetry, reading on her breaks at school, and her exposure to the poetry she heard from Jesse Jackson’s stage was a turning point for Ms. Buehler, encouraging her to take the craft seriously and pursue writing at a professional level. A native of Chicago, Ms. Buehler has studied at Harold Washington College and has had her poetry and short stories published extensively in collections, anthologies, and solo volumes.

Among her most recent publications were contributions to “Book of Angels,” “Angels Guarding Me,” and “My Love of Angels,” 2004, “Letters from the Soul,” and “God Bless America,” 2002. She was included in “Outstanding Poets of 1998,” and “The Best Writers of 1997” in addition to publishing the original works “Endless Skies of Blue,” 1998, “A Time to Remember,” 1996, “Beginning of a New Dawn,” 1996, and many others. Throughout her career, Ms. Buehler has contributed to dozens of anthologies and volumes of poetry and found critical success with her writing and original photography. In recognition of her talent and literary success, she has been the recipient of the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award and has been profiled in more than 20 editions of Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who in American Women, Who’s Who in the World, and Who’s Who in Entertainment.

Ms. Buehler has been married to her husband, Henry, since 1985, and is the proud parent of a son and a daughter. When she is not writing, Ms. Buehler is passionate about cooking, visual arts, and the outdoors.
