Outside of his work with Brewer Morgan, Mr. Morgan serves as a shaper with Hawaiian Island Creations and previously worked in a similar capacity with This Island Earth Surfboards between 1988 and 2000, Dick Brewer Surfboards from 1980 until 1988 and Green Lantern Surfboards from 1974 to 1979. Additionally, he designed products under the Lightning Bolt, Hobie, Oak Street and Wisdom labels. Mr. Morgan’s boards have been ridden by such sports luminaries as Owl Chapman, Shaun Tomson, Rick Rasmussen, Kelia Moniz and Dean Randazzo.
Outside of his primary career endeavors, Mr. Morgan earned distinction as a recording artist at Pamplin Music from 1996 until 2000, and as the owner of the 441 Recording Studio in Nashville, Tennessee, from 1995 to 2000. Civically, he is a dedicated volunteer and donator for Chabad of Hawaii, as well as the St. Jude Children’s Hospital and Christian Children’s Fund. In accounting for his standout success, Mr. Morgan credits his sense of gratitude, curiosity and passion for the sport of surfing, as well as his commitment to hard work and love for life.
