She is a member of the National League of American Pen Women and the Society of Western Art Club. In accounting for her standout success, Ms. Tan credits the influence of her Christian faith, through which she received the inspiration and encouragement to paint. Looking toward the future, she hopes to continue to paint and show her work internationally.
