Faith Gaillot, pen and ink and watercolor Artist, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Artists for dedication, achievements, and leadership in producing commercial artwork.
Ms. Gaillot has been recognized as a talented ink and watercolor artist for nearly 40 years. Seeking employment to pay for college courses at the College of Southern Maryland, Leonardtown, she offered her talent as an artist to a Jeep dealership in Prince Frederick, drawing small representations of various vehicles for display in the showroom and designing the dealership’s Christmas card.
Garnering valuable input from her instructors at the College of Southern Maryland, Ms. Gaillot, who began as a pen and ink artist, added watercolor technique to her repertoire. Among the many accolades for her work are a Rubicon Award and recognition letters from the Boys and Girls Clubs of America and the Maryland Veterans Museum. In addition, Ms. Gaillot has taught art classes and donated her artwork for cancer research auctions.
Ms. Gaillot attributes her success to her perseverance. She considers her career highlight to be her partnership with the Boys and Girls Clubs of America as well as showing her work at art shows and juried exhibitions.
