Roy G. Jones

Title: President
Company: Garde Associates
Location: Westwood, New Jersey

Roy Jones, President at Garde Associates, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Artists for dedication, achievements, and leadership in creating art.

In a varied career, Mr. Jones has served his country in the Korean War and later owned and operated a coal mine and an elevator company in England for over a decade. A fan of the great artist Pablo Picasso, he has marketed his sculptures, artworks and novels for over five decades. He has also lived and worked in Argentina and many places around the world.

Mr. Jones’ sculptures in metal, glass and acrylic depict people and animals found near where he lives, and his novels such as “Breaking Free” and “The Lewising Room” have received critical praise. Critics writing about “Breaking Free” have been generally positive and some made comparisons that ranged from “Robinson Crusoe meets Rambo” to describing it as “the novel that a collaboration between H.E. Bates and John Updike might have produced.”

Each time Mr. Jones starts a piece it is the most important one. When it is completed, he starts another one which becomes his favorite. In the coming years, he is hoping to bring his novels to a greater audience.
