Title: President
Company: B. Still Entertainment
Location: Waldorf, Maryland, United States

Napoleon Phillips, President at B. Still Entertainment, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Artists for dedication, achievements, and leadership in entertainment administration.

Mr. Phillips has attained the upper echelon in pop and R&B music, entertaining millions as lead singer of Heatwave, the very successful funk and disco band that racked up such hits as “Boogie Nights,” “The Groove Line” and “Always and Forever.” In addition, he has excelled as a songwriter for the soundtrack of the movie “Clueless” and as a writer, producer and vocalist of the rap group Phunké Assfalt.

Since 1998, Mr. Phillips has found much success as president of B. Still Entertainment, establishing it with friends in the genre of gospel music and inspirational R&B. In this capacity, he oversees the company’s group of five artists and ensures they are in the studio to work on and complete their projects. Mr. Phillips also arranges DJ events, photography and video shoots and manages public relations.

Mr. Phillips attributes his success to his strong faith. He became involved in his profession when he was five years old and sang James Brown’s “Mother Popcorn” onstage at his godmother’s wedding. At age 11, he met the R&B group Enchantment, who were making an instore appearance, and credits their encouragement when he told them he wanted to be involved in the music business as convincing him that music should be his profession. As his career-best achievements, Mr. Phillips mentions singing with Heatwave and his soundtrack composing efforts.
