Mike Dawson, Producer, Audio Engineer and Voice Over Talent at The Adam Carolla Show, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Artists for dedication, achievements, and leadership in voice-over performance and studio engineering.

Mr. Dawson obtained a Bachelor of Arts in communication studies from the University of California Santa Barbara in 1997 and later a certificate of audio engineering, sound masters audio engineering program with Pinnacle College in Alhambra, California in 2011. He has prospered as an in-demand voice-over talent, recording commercials for nationwide companies such as the American Automobile Association (AAA), the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, and hundreds of audiobooks such as “Ghost: My Thirty Years as an FBI Undercover Agent,” “Up On Game: From Robbing Banks to Stacking Bitcoin,” “Take A Walk On The Dark Side: Rock and Roll Myths, Legends, and Curses” and “Mistrial: An Inside Look at How the Criminal Justice System Works…and Sometimes Doesn’t.”

In addition, Mr. Dawson has provided superior service as a touring and studio engineer for Alan Parsons, the famed rock record producer and artist and engineer; announcer and co-producer of the Adam Carolla Show; and host of music podcast Mike Dawson’s Front of House. His many talents as an Engineer, VO Artist, Producer and Live Event Coordinator are collected under the umbrella of DawsAngeles LLC.

As a musician, Mr. Dawson has performed with his band, the Smokin’ Kills, who released their initial CD “The Last Honky Tonk Hero” in 2021, and flourished as venue music director for the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, Canada. In addition, he has performed as a stand-up comedian at the Ontario Improv and other venues.

Mr. Dawson attributes his success to his perseverance, his drive for success and to constantly looking to challenge himself for when opportunities to grow and learn present themselves. He became involved in his profession because of the technical producer position opportunity that became available. Initially, Mr. Dawson had no idea what a technical producer position entailed. He underwent a week-long audition and fortunately, he was hired. Ten weeks into the show, he became a voice over talent of “The Adam Carolla Show.”

Being able to build a radio station at the 2002 Olympic Winter Games in Salt Lake City has been Mr. Dawson’s most notable accomplishment. It was at the beginning of the Green Initiatives where they built a broadcast booth and created an entire radio station to play music and communicate with others to provide updates of the events. In the coming years, Mr. Dawson would like to tour and perform with his band and hopes to be nominated for a Grammy Award for music production and also to voice a national advertising campaign.
