Sandy Meeks, Author, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Artists for dedication, achievements, and leadership in literature.
With decades of experience to her credit, Ms. Meeks has excelled as an author in recent years, having written her first children’s book, “The Adventures of C.W.: Choices,” which was published by Archway Publishing in 2022. Inspired by her grandson, for whom she cared alongside her husband during a snowstorm, she previously worked as the co-owner of a photobooth business between 2010 and 2016. Notably, she found success as a grade school teacher in San Angelo, Texas, between 1980 and her retirement in 2009. For 20 years of this tenure, Ms. Meeks further served as a trained ropes facilitator,
Before embarking on her professional path, Ms. Meeks pursued an education at Angelo State University, from which she earned a bachelor’s degree in elementary education with a concentration in health and physical education in 1979. Beyond her primary responsibilities, she has actively contributed to the ministry as well as a food ministry called Neighbor’s Cafe. As a testament to her exceptional career, she was honored with a Teacher of the Week Award in the city of San Angelo in addition to the 2009 Teacher of the Year Award, the latter of which she was nominated by her peers. Looking toward the future, Ms. Meeks hopes to continue writing books while remaining involved with her ministry.
