Lisa Monde, PhD, founder of the Monli International Theater Company LLC, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Artists for dedication, achievements, and leadership in musical theater.
With over 20 years of experience to her credit, Dr. Monde has built a prosperous career as an award-winning singer, composer, actress, playwright and director. In 2017, she founded Monli International Theater Company LLC, where she offers master classes in vocal performance, acting and public speaking. The company also provides production assistance for stage shows and events. Over the course of her career, Dr. Monde has written, directed, produced and performed in a vast array of creative works, including stage plays, musicals, concerts, songs and movies. In 2012, she wrote and directed the stage production of “I Know All Save Myself Alone,” which subsequently received a second edition paperback publication and received the Third Place Reader’s Choice Award for Historical Fiction in 2019. Dr. Monde is also well known for writing and directing “L.O.V.E.: Little Odd Voyage of an Extraterrestrial” in 2009, “The Pirate Story” in 2011, “Happy Hunting Ground for the Hound” in 2016, and “Teach Me How to Die” in 2019.
As part of her vocational journey, Dr. Monde cultivated a formal education. To wit, she holds a bachelor’s degree in musical theater from the New York Film Academy, a master’s degree in linguistics and translation from the Lomonosov Moscow State University, and a PhD in musical theater vocal performance from Moscow Pedagogical State University. As part of her dedication to her various professional endeavors, she remains affiliated with several industry-related organizations, including the Screen Actors Guild – American Federation of Television and Radio Artists, the International Dance Council, and the Dramatists Guild of America Inc. Dr. Monde has received a number of accolades and commendations for her performances and productions, including awards for her plays “Teach Me How to die” and “Master Class in Suicide Notes Writing” at the New York Winter Fest in 2019 and the Fourth Annual Radioactive Festival of Female Playwrights in 2017, respectively. In light of her numerous achievements, she largely attributes her success to her determination and dedication. In the coming years, Dr. Monde plans to continue writing novels, and she hopes to act in or direct a production on Broadway.
