Renee L. Jorgensen, Instructor at Two Hands Paperie, Private Tutor, and Artist, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Artists for dedication, achievements, and leadership in arts instruction and illustration.

In preparation for her career in the arts, Ms. Jorgensen earned a diploma from Warren Tech in 1975 and attended the Colorado State University College of Business, completing coursework in fine and studio arts. In 1993, she graduated from the Community College of Denver with an Associate of Science in commercial and advertising art. Alongside her formal degrees, Ms. Jorgensen earned a certification in scientific and fine art illustration from the Denver Botanic Gardens School of Botanic Art & Illustration in 2004. In 2015, she earned a certification in American cursive handwriting curriculum and lesson planning. Since 2000, she has been a nature sciences illustrator and artist with Red Feather Studio. Since 2017, she has shared her expertise as a private tutor with Brush and Quill Arts, and since 2019, she has worked as an instructor for Two Hands Paperie.

Ms. Jorgensen’s creative works include exhibitions at the Denver Botanic Gardens in 2020, Brush and Quill Art Gallery from 2018 to 2019, the Royal Horticultural Society in London in 2017, the St. John’s Cathedral in 2016, and the Colorado Arts & Crafts Gathering of the Guilds in 2012, among numerous others. For her accomplishments, she was listed in Who’s Who Among American High School Students and won a Gold Medal from the Royal Horticultural Society in 2017. Notably, Ms. Jorgensen designed a Colorado border state sign. To keep abreast of her career, she maintains membership in the International Association of Master Penmen, the New York Society of Scribes, the Colorado Quilt Guild, the Summit Scribes Guild, the Rocky Mountain Society of Botanical Artists, the American Society of Botanical Artists, the Colorado Calligraphers Guild, the American Society of Botanical Artists, and the Guild of Nature and Sciences Illustrators, among others. In the coming years, Ms. Jorgensen hopes to produce more original artwork and further explore her creativity.
