Deeply committed to art since a very young age, Mr. Young has excelled as a professional artist with his studio, SALUT Art by Bradd Young, since 2015. Commissioned to paint murals in Buffalo and Rochester, he carries additional expertise in sculpting, wood work, graphic design and 3D art. His work is whimsical and lighthearted and features a unique color palette that references the cartoons he watched as a child.
To improve upon his skill set and further develop his mastery in art, Mr. Young earned a bachelor’s degree in comprehensive art from Hampton University in 2016. He received the Outstanding Fine Arts Award from the university that same year. To further develop his talents, he maintains a membership with the Rochester Art Club.
Meticulous and reliable in his craft, Mr. Young attributes his success to a combination of hard work, dedication, honesty and humility. Among his many successful projects, he is particularly proud of the mural he created at a memorial art gallery at the University of Rochester, as well as the pro bono paintings he has done for a number of charities and organizations. Devoted to his community, he volunteers through his local church to provide meals to underprivileged families and individuals. Over the next five years, he intends to obtain a master’s degree and launch his own website.
