Having accrued more than 20 years of professional experience, Mr. Williams has found success as an artist, entrepreneur and educator at his company, Studio 2500 Inc., since 2015. He carries expertise in producing metal arts and sculptures, public outdoor arts, small scale metal sculptures and mixed media visual arts. Prior to operating his own business, he excelled in his family’s welding and fabrication business.

To prepare for his private career, Mr. Williams earned a bachelor’s degree in fine arts from Birmingham Southern College in 2018. During his time in high school, he was bestowed with the Young Artist of America award and had his artwork displayed at a group exhibition in Manhattan, New York. Additionally, while pursuing his college degree, he opened his art gallery.

An avid piano player, Mr. Williams has long enjoyed a love and passion for art. As he started to receive formal education, he began to understand how much there was to explore in the field of art, in terms of his identity, his heritage, his culture, how people relate to each other, and his observation of the world. Devoted to the advancement of his field, he is a member of a number of art organizations, including the Young Professionals of Birmingham, the Birmingham Art Association, Native American Arts and Cultural Traditions in Birmingham, and the Greater Birmingham Arts Education Collaborative Inc.

Mr. Williams is committed to improving the welfare of his community, carrying out ministry at a non-denominational church in Birmingham and volunteering for the Salvation Army. Additionally, he enthusiastically hosts a summer arts program at his art gallery, where he teaches art to local young people.

In the coming years, Mr. Williams will look to expand his art gallery to additional locations. He also intends to travel internationally as an artist and hopes to inspire more youths to enter the field of art and show individuals how art can be a tool in improving the quality of life.
