Michael G. Booth, the owner of the Gallery of Artist Michael G. Booth, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Artists for dedication, achievements, and leadership in the field of fine art.

With over 40 years of experience to his credit in a variety of artistic mediums, including painting, sculpture and pottery, Mr. Booth has distinguished himself as the owner of his own art gallery, which he and his wife established in their home in Hungry Horse, Montana, in 2020. Hailing from a prolific career as a professor of art at several academic institutions, the author of various books and instructional videos, and an impressive array of showings at exhibitions throughout the United States, Mr. Booth has long demonstrated a fascination with the mountainous landscape and wildlife of Glacier National Park in Montana, earning himself the sobriquet of “the Glacier Artist.”

Among his most cherished accomplishments, Mr. Booth is particularly proud to have worked with prisons and inmates to create monumental sculptures on behalf of the local community, including an abstract piece commissioned by the Ronald McDonald House Charities and dozens of life-size sculptures of cowboys for the cities of Pendleton, Oregon and McAlester, Oklahoma. Attributing his lifelong success to both his diligence and passion for art, he is gratified to have been bestowed with numerous recognitions, including as the featured artist at the grand opening of the Oregon Trail Interpretive Center in 1992 and many awards from various art shows in the states of Utah, Idaho and California.

Mr. Booth initially undertook coursework in forestry at Boise State University, after which he transferred to Utah State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Fine Art and a Master of Fine Art in 1978 and 1979, respectively.
