Brenda Leigh, Artist, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Artists for dedication, achievements, and leadership.

In preparation for her career as an artist, Ms. Leigh earned an associate degree from the University of Florida in 1974. She additionally completed coursework at the Laguna Beach College of Art and worked for years at her business, Brenda Leigh Artist At Large. For her accomplishments, she was the recipient of the Top Art Award from the Daughters of the American Revolution in 2020 and numerous awards from her community.

In recognition of their artistic success, Ms. Leigh and her son have both been featured on the covers of local magazines. Alongside her primary professional endeavors, she is a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She attributes her success to her enthusiasm and determination, as she has dreamed of making a living as an artist since she was a child and worked hard to achieve her dream. Ms. Leigh devoted herself to community art, spending the bulk of her career on large public installation art projects, many of which she completed for free. Among her accomplishments, she is proudest of those she has inspired to pursue their own artistry. In the coming years, Ms. Leigh plans to continue improving as an artist and inspiring others through collaborative community art projects.
