Wayne F. Moquin, Writer and Editor, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Artists for dedication, achievements, and leadership.
Mr. Moquin is an accomplished professional writer and editor with decades of experience to his credit. For 30 years, from 1965 to 1995, he was a writer and worked for the chairman of the board of editors with Encyclopedia Britannica. He garnered further experience with a small publishing firm in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and as a freelance indexer with McGraw Hill Education.
Mr. Moquin authored “Romantic Reveries: The Revolt Against Reason in Christianity, Government, and Human Nature” with WestBow Press in 2019. As an editor, he worked on “Documentary History of Italian Americans” for Praeger Publishers in 1974, “Makers of America” for Encyclopedia Britannica in 1971, “Annals of America” for Encyclopedia Britannica in 1971 and “A Documentary History of the Mexican Americans” in 1971. Mr. Moquin also edited “The American Way of Crime: A Documentary History” for Praeger Publishers.
In preparation for his career, Mr. Moquin studied theology at Luther Seminary in St. Paul, Minnesota. He went on to graduate from Augustana College with a Bachelor of Arts in history in 1952. For four years, Mr. Moquin worked with Kairos Prison Ministry. He additionally contributed as a volunteer teacher in La Grange, Illinois.
For his accomplishments, Mr. Moquin was featured in the Marquis Who’s Who Millenium Magazine. To keep abreast of his field, he has maintained membership to Phi Beta Kappa and the Ludwig von Mises Institute for Austrian Economics. Mr. Moquin attributes his success to his writing skills, which have paved the way for his success. Among his accomplishments, he is proud of his work for Encyclopedia Britannica, which was well-reviewed and well-received. However, he is proudest of his book, “Romantic Reveries: The Revolt Against Reason in Christianity, Government, and Human Nature.” In the coming years, Mr. Moquin plans to finish more written work, including a book about economics and a play.
