Gayle Faulkner, Professional Artist at Gayle Faulkner Fine Art, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Artists for dedication, achievements, and leadership in textural acrylics and landscape painting.
Ms. Faulkner is a professional artist who excels in contemporary textural acrylic artwork. Textural acrylics are comprised of gels and pastes added to acrylic paints to create three-dimensional body that comes off the flat surface of the canvas. Alongside her work as an artist, Ms. Faulkner teaches classes for seniors on topics including using acrylic palette knives, silk painting, watercolors and mixed media art.
Among her creative works, Ms. Faulkner’s art has been exhibited at the ARTIFACT gallery in New York, New York, with Art Expo New York and at the Amsterdam Whitney Gallery New York. In 2022, her art was exhibited in the Las Laguna Art Gallery in California and by Red Dot Miami. Her artwork has also been exhibited in multiple online shows.
In preparation for her career, Ms. Faulkner attended William Jewell College and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in sociology in 1969. Alongside her primary endeavors, she has been a speaker with the Pleasant Valley Art Association and various local venues. In addition, she has worked with painting demonstrations at various local and regional groups.
Ms. Faulkner was a featured/emerging artist with Fine Art America and had her painting featured by Ferran Canada. Since 2022, she has been published monthly in Observica Magazine, Artistonish Magazine, Gallerium Planetarium and Exhibitzone Magazine. The latter publication awarded her work the Grand Prize in August 2022. Among her achievements, Ms. Faulkner received the Keller Prize, an Artivita Artist of the Year Award, and a Winner Certificate, an Award of Exellence and a 2022 Award of Merit from the Circle Foundation.
Published in World Wide Art Magazine in 2022 as well as in the book “Current Masters 6” in 2023, Ms. Faulkner’s art was also featured at the Jones Gallery in Kansas City in 2022, the World Wide Art Show in Miami, the Buttonwood Art Space in 2022 and the Tim Murphy Gallery in 2023. In the near future, Ms. Faulkner aims to showcase more of her work Art Expo NY in Spring 2023.
Despite her professional accomplishments, Ms. Faulkner is proudest of having three children. In the coming years, she hopes to continue improving her craft and have her art displayed worldwide.
