With more than 35 years of experience to her credit, Ms. Zullig has excelled as an artist with the Professional Artists of St. Augustine Fine Art Gallery since 2014. Additionally active as the owner of Martin-Story Designs, she was previously appointed as the president of the Professional Artists of St. Augustine Fine Art Gallery between 2016 and 2022. She formerly found success as the owner of The Jewel Box over the course of four years. Even though she has been an artist her entire life, she began her full-time career in the field of education, working as both a media specialist and a teacher of highly-gifted children in New York, Charlotte, North Carolina and St. Augustine, Florida between 1987 and 2012. During this time, Ms. Zullig likewise lived and worked in Switzerland between 1981 and 1982.
Before embarking on her professional path, Ms. Zullig pursued an education at Bryant College, earning a Bachelor of Science in Education, summa cum laude, in 1970. She concluded her studies at the University of Rhode Island, from which she graduated with a master’s degree in 1974. As an artist, she has been inspired by the people on her mother’s side, especially her grandmothers, Evelina Martin and Rosanna Story. She is proud to be creating artwork from stained glass and crafting inspired jewelry as her full-time profession following her retirement as an educator in 2012. As a testament to her exceptional undertakings, Ms. Zullig has been notably featured in multiple articles in local magazines from the Saint Augustine, Florida and Jacksonville, Florida regions.
