Scott Liggett, regent at the University of the Pacific, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Artists for dedication, achievements, and leadership in field of music production.

Mr. Liggett has cultivated a career of excellence as a multi-faceted professional. While he primarily operates in the music, entertainment and graphic novel industries, he has chiefly served as a regent on the board of regents at the University of the Pacific since 2020, where he previously studied music composition between 1967 and 1971. In his other recent professional endeavors, Mr. Liggett founded the Shatner Universe LLC in North Hollywood, California, in 2017, where he continues to operate as an executive producer. Furthermore, he has held a similar leadership role at LNL PARTNERS Inc. in Burbank since 2013. Throughout his career, Mr. Liggett has worked alongside many noteworthy industry icons, including William Shatner and Stan Lee.

Well-regarded as a member of numerous industry-related organizations, such as the Television Academy, and as a founding member of the International Documentary Association, Mr. Liggett has further excelled as a singer, songwriter, producer and composer over the course of his career. To wit, he has been honored for collaborating on countless musical projects, as part of his other vocational endeavors. Additionally, he is proud to have been nominated for an Emmy Award for “NCAA Men’s Basketball Championship” at the National Emmy Awards in 1994. He also won a national Emmy Award for the “Robert Goulet – NCAA Men’s College Basketball Championship Campaign” in 1996. Looking to the future, Mr. Liggett hopes to continue his efforts both as a regent at his school and in all of his creative projects.
