Charles E. Barbin, Founder of the Dunes Art Gallery, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Artists for dedication, achievements, and leadership in painting, installation art and sculpture.

Mr. Barbin is an accomplished artist working with multiple media, including paintings, murals, installation art and sculptures. Since 2019, he has found success as the founder of the Dunes Art Gallery. Mr. Barbin’s modern fine art is always on display at his gallery, and his murals cover the property.

Prior to owning his own gallery, Mr. Barbin worked with Mural Arts Philadelphia. He also garnered experience with Amber Art and Design. Alongside his primary endeavors, Mr. Barbin contributes his time as a member of the board for the Atlantic City Arts Foundation.

In preparation for his career, Mr. Barbin graduated from the Temple University Tyler School of Art with a Bachelor of Arts in 2004. After spending 20 years in the city of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, he moved to Brigantine, New Jersey. Once Mr. Barbin found a suitable space in the town’s central business district, he decided to create the Dunes Art Gallery.

Mr. Barbin credits his success to his dedication and persistence, as the art industry can be inconsistent and frustrating. Among his myriad accomplishments, he considers opening the Dunes Art Gallery his greatest achievement, as it realized his dreams of bringing in collaborators and developing his new aesthetic. In the coming years, Mr. Barbin hopes to continue seeing the success of his current collectives and establishments, including a 20-acre property in Puerto Rico which he plans to use as an artist’s retreat.
