Ivan Kudashev, Co-Founder and Co-Owner of The Ballroom Dance House, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Artists for dedication, achievements, and leadership as a professional dancer and dance instructor.
Mr. Kudashev has been the co-founder and co-owner of The Ballroom Dance House since 2021. In this role, he conducts private and group classes. Mr. Kudashev also dances professionally, participating in competitions and practicing with his wife. Prior to opening his own studio, he worked at Fred Astaire Dance Studios for two and a half years and was a former docent at the Chelyabinsk State Academy of Culture and Arts. Among his accomplishments, Mr. Kudashev and his wife were named UK Open Professional RS Latin Finalists in 2019, finishing in the top six couples. They are also U.S. National Professional Latin Show Dance Champions.
To prepare for his career, Mr. Kudashev attended the Chelyabinsk State Academy of Culture and Arts, graduating with a master’s degree in dance direction in 2011. His work as a professional dancer has earned him numerous accolades, including being named a Russian National Vice Champion. He was a finalist in a European dance championship and a semi-finalist in a world dance championship. Mr. Kudashev prides himself on the success of his students, many of whom participate in dancing competitions. Some of his pupils have become U.S. champions. Mr. Kudashev hopes to open another location of The Ballroom Dance House in the coming years. In his free time, he enjoys traveling.
