Title: Owner
Company: Glenda’s Art
Location: Leesburg, Florida, United States
Glenda Shambo, owner at Glenda’s Art, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Artists for dedication, achievements, and leadership in stained-glass art.
With 20 years of experience to her credit, Ms. Shambo has excelled as owner of Glenda’s Art (formerly Fine Design) since 2003. During this time, she also contributed as an employee at State Farm Insurance and as the secretary at a local school in her community. Beyond her responsibilities within the field, Ms. Shambo has participated in numerous endeavors outside of her professional circles. She contributed to the local crisis pregnancy center as a counselor for 15 years.
Ms. Shambo’s most notable achievement was creating and installing the stained-glass windows for the Christian Church of Starke, Florida in 1997 and another for the First Baptist Church of Alexander City, Alabama, in 2002. She became involved in her industry in her 20s while visiting her brother in Florida. He had recently created a stained-glass lamp for an art class he was taking. She had always wanted to craft stained-glass and took his experience as motivation to attempt it herself.
Ms. Shambo attributes her success to her faith and dependency on God. She hopes that in anything she does, people can see her faith and religion in practice and take inspiration from her. In the immediate future, her goal is to keep healthy, continue playing tennis, and spend time with her family, including two children, three grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
