Rashonda B. Johnston, Institutional Effectiveness Assistant and LiveText Manager at The Baptist College of Florida, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Artists for dedication, achievements, and leadership in music.
With years of experience to her credit, Ms. Johnston has excelled as an institutional effectiveness assistant and livetext manager with The Baptist College of Florida, where she has also contributed as a pianist and accompanist for various ensembles. Previously, she was active with The Baptist College of Florida as an assistant to the music division from 2020 to 2022 and an assistant to the teacher education division in 2022. Likewise, she has found success as an independent piano teacher and the pianist for Holmes Creek Baptist Church in Chipley, Florida. Since 2011, Ms. Johnston has further served as a volunteer in the emergency food pantry for O’Brien Baptist Church.
To support her professional ambitions, Ms. Johnston pursued an education at The Baptist College of Florida, from which she earned a Bachelor of Arts in music, summa cum laude, in 2021. She was greatly inspired by her mother, a pianist who encouraged her daughter’s natural piano skills throughout her formative years. She has attributed her success to her determination, her unwavering sense of responsibility and her belief in giving her all in all of her efforts as per the word of Colossians 3:23. Looking toward the future, Ms. Johnston hopes to complete her Master of Arts in music at The Baptist College of Florida, become a professor of music history, and advance in her field as an administrative assistant.
