She currently serves as a shareholder at Encompass Accounting & Tax Inc., a role she has held since 2008. In this capacity, she manages various client expectations, and conducts client training on transitioning to new accounting software and troubleshooting issues, performs reconciliations and balances accounts for financial accuracy, and engages in costing projects to analyze gross profit margins across client product lines, ensuring their competitiveness and strong branding.
Additionally, Ms. Will is an advocate and public speaker, focusing on fostering youth and nonprofit outreach. She served as a court-appointed special advocate and volunteered at many nonprofits over the years. She is also the author of the upcoming book “Finding My Way Through the Dark” and the host of the podcast and YouTube channel “SpeakYourTruthNow”. Her memberships include serving as secretary and treasurer for the local chapter of Toastmasters International.
Reflecting on her career, Ms. Will established Encompass Accounting & Tax, Inc. in response to the 2008 financial crisis, which led to the closure of several businesses she was servicing. Opting to freelance, she initially focused on payroll services and later expanded into personal income tax returns. This venture evolved further through her husband’s experience as a tax manager at a local accounting firm.
Ms. Will attributes her success to her exceptional determination and strong will, consistently working hard to overcome challenges. In the coming years, she is determined to see her book succeed and hopes to continue writing about the impactful stories she encounters. Her vision includes leveraging her nonprofit organization to teach accounting skills and empower individuals to secure employment. Through her organization, she aims to collaborate with other nonprofits and successful individuals to identify common success factors and share these insights with others. She also has plans to launch a podcast featuring interviews with accomplished individuals, especially those from foster care backgrounds, to uncover their secrets to success and inspire listeners. Her aspirations extend to being spotlighted in Forbes Magazine and New York Times Square Magazine to reach a broader audience and amplify her message of empowerment and achievement.
Additionally, Ms. Will is in the process of preparing to publish a book, “Finding My Way Through the Dark,” which shares her personal story and experiences. She aims to inspire young people and become a public speaker, supporting and guiding others struggling with similar challenges. She hopes to help individuals learn how to overcome adversity and lead fulfilling lives. She is passionate about reaching more people who need her services. Her long-term aspiration is to teach accounting and entrepreneurial skills by first installing grounding techniques through mediation that will encourage those struggling to master themselves to become successful.
