With a decade of passionate experience in the culinary arts to her credit, Ms. Nunez Torres has excelled as an executive pastry chef at the St. Petersburg Yacht Club since 2023. In this position, she expertly manages all pastry orders and supervises the preparation and production of a diverse array of pastries, which she creates and updates herself for the aforementioned club. She previously found success as an assistant pastry chef at the St. Petersburg Yacht Club from 2019 to 2022, a pastry chef at Hotel Rincon of the Seas in Puerto Rico, and teaching roles at the Catholic University of Puerto Rico and Escuela Hotelera de San Juan Puerto Rico. Renowned for her ability to incorporate creativity and innovation into her visually stunning culinary creations, Ms. Nunez Torres’ ability to remain at the cutting edge of her industry has been instrumental to her outstanding career thus far.
To support her professional ambitions, Ms. Nunez Torres pursued an education at Escuela Hotelera de San Juan Puerto Rico, where she graduated with an associate degree in pastry arts, summa cum laude, in 2016. In the coming years, she hopes to broaden her skill set through additional coursework at the Culinary Institute of America. Born in Santo Domingo, she has fostered a lifelong love for cooking and baking, finding joy in the kitchen from an early age. Ms. Nunez Torres is grateful for the opportunity to share her knowledge in the classroom as well, citing her experience as an educator as particularly enriching for her professional life and integral to her comprehensive understanding of the culinary arts.
Ms. Nunez Torres attributes her success to a relentless pursuit of improvement, a passion for her profession, and a commitment to staying current on industry trends. Outside of her primary endeavors, she is proud to be the loving wife to her spouse, Vladimir Noboa, and a caring mother to two wonderful daughters, Marianne and Anne Marie. Looking toward the future, she aspires to return to teaching so she can continue offering her expertise to the next generations of chefs. Additionally, Ms. Nunez Torres dreams of eventually opening her own pastry shop, where she can continue to showcase her creativity and passion for baking on a larger scale.
