Additionally, she presents keynote addresses and literacy workshops to early childhood educators and librarians.

Throughout her tenure at Hunk-Ta-Bunk-Ta Music, Ms. Dines’s expertise has been recognized through her involvement in licensing music from its catalog of 13 recordings and administering copyrights, publishing contracts and touring schedules. Her extensive experience has been pivotal to her ongoing success.

In addition to her work with Hunk-Ta-Bunk-Ta Music, Ms. Dines has been a teaching and performing artist with Think 360 Arts since 1994. Her dedication to arts education is evident in her efforts to connect with children through music, fostering creativity and learning.

Before these roles, Ms. Dines served as an assistant art director at the Denver Museum of Nature & Science from 1975 to 1986, where she honed her skills in visual arts and leadership. Her early career began as a receptionist at the National Songwriters Association, laying the foundation for her future endeavors in the music industry.

Ms. Dines’s academic background includes a Bachelor of Arts in psychology and anthropology from Emmett College in 1974. This educational foundation has been instrumental in shaping her approach to songwriting and education, allowing her to connect with children on a deeper level.

Engagement with several professional organizations, such as the Recording Academy, the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers, and the National Songwriters Association, has been pivotal to Ms. Dines’s ongoing success. Her commitment extends beyond music, as she has held leadership roles within The Children’s Music Network since 1992, has been active on the board of directors for the Rocky Mountain Conservancy since 2013 and Compassion & Choices since 2010, and has served as the president of the Monday Forum since 2016.

Throughout her career, Ms. Dines has been recognized for her contributions to music and education. She received a Grammy nomination for an album featuring lullabies she authored during a challenging time in her life. This album has been translated into seven languages, sharing the gift of music with children worldwide. Ms. Dines’s latest album for very young children earned her a National Association of Parenting Publications Award in 2024. Her success is attributed to a strong sense of motivation and passion, inspired by several leading figures in the industry.

Ms. Dines envisions expanding her musical reach by collaborating with diverse musicians from various cultures. She is particularly interested in working with immigrants to create enriching musical experiences. Ms. Dines’s aspirations include educating children through music globally and publishing resources that benefit young learners. One such project is her book “Blood,” which introduces children to friendly monsters while promoting a positive understanding of blood’s essential role in life.
