Ms. Berlin is noted for her remarkable career in music education and ministry, marked by more than four decades of dedication. Since 2001, she has served as the owner of Music With Mary, a business that has become synonymous with innovative early childhood music instruction in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Through her venture with Music With Mary, Ms. Berlin has developed a unique program designed to enhance baby bonding through music, focusing on seven key moments throughout the day. Her approach, which includes activities such as waking up, massage time, exercise, moving to the beat, and quiet time with a lullaby, has resonated with families for more than 20 years. The success of Music With Mary is evidenced by the loyalty of her students, many of whom have come to know her through word-of-mouth referrals.

Since 2001, Ms. Berlin has also held the position of Kindermusik teacher with The Summerlin Council, where she continues to inspire young learners each Wednesday morning. Additionally, her expertise in leading praise and worship is evident in her ongoing role as a praise and worship leader since 1985. In this capacity, Ms. Berlin guides Bible study sessions and leads worship teams across various church communities, contributing her skills in keyboards, vocals and musical arrangements.

Earlier in her career, Ms. Berlin served as a piano and voice teacher at Brill Music Academy from 2001 to 2005, where she taught approximately 30 students annually and organized biannual recitals that included venue management and student recognition. Her earlier professional experience included full-time ministry between 1995 and 1998. Ms. Berlin also contributed as a K-8 music teacher and youth leader from 1985 to 1995, laying the foundation for her lifelong commitment to nurturing young musicians.

Highly educated, Ms. Berlin acquired a Bachelor of Arts in voice performance and music at Northwestern University in 1983 and a Master of Arts in teaching music from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater in 1995. She also holds a K-12 music teaching certification. Beyond education, Ms. Berlin is a certified marriage officiant through Clark County, Nevada, and holds ordination certification.

Ms. Berlin’s professional affiliations include membership in the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers, the Music Teachers National Association, and the Nevada Music Teachers Association. Meanwhile, her civic engagement is reflected in her willingness to volunteer her time to various church worship teams, providing leadership on keyboards, vocals and arrangements, and through active involvement with evangelical ministries where she serves by leading worship.

Throughout her music career, Ms. Berlin has extensively traveled the U.S. and Europe in various choral societies and contemporary Christian concerts with the Continental Singers. These experiences allowed her to witness numerous healings and miracles, an aspect of her career she regards as deeply fulfilling. Ms. Berlin’s creative output has also become extensive. She has written and produced over 25 songs released on Facebook and an additional 20 songs on YouTube. Her discography includes albums such as “The Good News,” “Lean on Me” and “In2MeC7.” Since 1980, Ms. Berlin has consistently recorded original songs that reflect her evolving artistry.

In July 2025, Ms. Berlin launched a digital teaching project titled “A Minute of Music: A Baby Bond Forever,” which features a concise 23-minute instructional video aimed at promoting musical connection between caregivers and children. This initiative reflects Ms. Berlin’s commitment to expanding access to quality music education and fostering meaningful relationships through music.
