Mr. Schmitt has established a notable career spanning six decades, marked by visionary thinking, expertise in quantum philosophy and a deep commitment to spiritual intuition. For the past 55 years, he has been self-employed as a quantum philosopher, dedicating his work to uncovering the true nature of consciousness and human potential. Mr. Schmitt’s approach bridges quantum physics, metaphysics and ancient spiritual wisdom, offering profound insights into transcending fear, aligning with universal consciousness and living as sovereign creators of reality.
In 2011, Mr. Schmitt founded Rappel Maui in Hawaii, where he led the company from 2011 to 2013. Under his guidance, the business provided unique outdoor experiences centered on waterfall rappelling, reflecting his passion for adventure and personal transformation. Before this venture, he founded Hike Maui in 1983 and operated it for nearly 30 years, until 2012. Hike Maui earned recognition as the best ecotourism company in its field during its tenure, a testament to Mr. Schmitt’s leadership and innovative approach to sustainable tourism.
Earlier in 1983, Mr. Schmitt served as a crew member on a yacht owned by the Hyatt Regency in Maui. This role marked an important milestone in his personal journey, helping him reintegrate into society after nearly three years spent living in the wilderness. Mr. Schmitt’s adaptability and resilience during this period laid the foundation for his subsequent entrepreneurial successes.
From 1969 to 1976, Mr. Schmitt was devoted to his work as a quantum philosopher, focusing on exploring consciousness and human potential through interdisciplinary study and practice. His work during these years contributed significantly to his later writings and teachings.
Mr. Schmitt began his professional journey as a real estate appraisal trainee with Alameda County, California, a position he held for over five years. His analytical skills and attention to detail were further honed through this experience.
A graduate of Valparaiso University in Valparaiso, Indiana, Mr. Schmitt earned a Bachelor of Arts in classical languages with a minor in theology and philosophy, magna cum laude, in 1965. His academic background has played a pivotal role in shaping his career trajectory. Mr. Schmitt continued his studies at Concordia Seminary in St. Louis, Missouri, before earning both a Bachelor of Divinity and a Master of Theology from the Pacific School of Religion in Berkeley, California, in 1969. These academic achievements provided him with a strong foundation in critical thinking, philosophical inquiry and spiritual exploration.
Mr. Schmitt’s experiences throughout his life inspired him to pursue writing as a means of expressing his unique understanding of existence. The solitude afforded by financial independence enabled him to delve deeply into his thoughts and develop his distinctive authorial voice.
Among Mr. Schmitt’s most significant accomplishments was the publication of five volumes of essays under the series “Quantum Energetics and Spirituality” since 2020. These works offer practical tools for aligning thought, emotion and energy with expanding awareness. Through this series, Mr. Schmitt invites readers to move beyond intellectual concepts into lived experiences of heart-centered consciousness and inner knowing.
Eager for future projects, Mr. Schmitt is currently engaged in creating a series of films that portray new ways of living and the transformative journeys of individuals who overcome limiting beliefs to lead joyful lives despite adversity. Ultimately, his goal is to have these films contracted by major streaming studios.
